Hell
She awoke too a distinct aroma
Of sure death and decay;
Life in this place was not for the faint of heart,
And even the brave lost their sanity.
Iniquity was a figment of imagination,
And devils took fascination to her morality
Sparing the virgin's life,
Only too have a knife twisted into her frame.
There were no flames.
Only darkness;
And the forgiving and the heartless
Were at equilibrium.
To survive, she had to deny
Her father, saying, "No."
When the demon asked, "Do you remember him?"
Why accept?
Earlier, He hadn't forsaken her,
Leaving her to die on Earth,
Bleeding out as if her soul wasn't worth
The earth she inhabited;
She had to wake up too nothing
To be savagely burned alive,
No way too die.
Only to fight and cry,
And sigh,
And lie to all that she believed in.
In Hell,
There was no God to believe in.
In Hell,
There was no goals or achievements.
Just oblivion,
Colder than cement.
Just Hell,
The heartless.
Only Hell...
The darkness.
