Poem Commentary

I just went there and it was damaged when I was about six I went there. It was so cool I saw lots of things there I am very sorry to the hurricane victims New Orleans you two.I wish us all the best be sure to lead with your heart and not your anger.

New Orleans

For the man who
stands with his arms crossed
For the women and children
who remember the lost

For the towns that
still look the part
For the government that
try to repair the hearts

For life has stopped
but others start
For ones who feel
to crawl under a rock

You can be strong
no matter what
Because for you
you've indured alot

To those who understand
I'm sorry about your land
For I am a fan of the water land

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
