If you could only see My view
Looking down through space,
Through stellar, blinding lights
How is it I can see your face?
You might wonder

My view of you is panoramic glory
Transcending the elements and span of time
Taking in the complete picture, the whole story
My perfect creation - future, present, and past
My vision, my plans for you so vast
For only I know the first from the last

Agape threads spiral down through the clouds
Beckoning to you like a life line
Catch hold of this love, in epic proportion
See the love in My eyes, heart of Mine

Piercing deep past the hues
of the sky's canvas, black and blue
and purple, colors of the rainbow, full
of the dye I spread with My words
Who, but I, could see you like this?

My eyes are ever clear
Searching out your heart
for all that concerns you
Charting the course of your life
And seeing you through its stages

There are pages and pages of
love letters I've written to you
Carried across the billions of miles of air
On My wind-blown kisses

This is... My view... of you,
and it's bright and beautiful.

This is dope. I like the flow of it and the picture you paint with each word.

Thank you, Sir. I enjoyed writing this and trying to convey God's love through His eyes. Hope you were blessed by it ;-)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
