My Truest Love

MY TRUEST LOVE

Mixed feelings, long thoughts
Will I marry, will I not?
Winds blowing, come what may
for I'm in love on today.
What of tomorrow
when troubles come
will I be true
or will I run
I need more time
to know myself
but if I don't know me
then who else
To love is strong
to hate is cruel
I need to know
which one will rule
Until I can give more than I get
My truest Love, I have not met.

yes but one day we all will and that love will blow our hearts and our tender tears away...................................

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
