My Torture

My Torture

Out into the light I stumble,
feebly I walk to you,
but to my dismay I saw you snicker
as in delight of my plight
So turn and run I must
for you are not safe for me
I burnt myself for you
just to feel your touch
now I sit and cry
torn and burned
my eyes bloodstained from my fight
You spoke my name
and I wanted you
but chaos grows from within
Once the light shone on your face
I knew you were sent here to cause my torture!!

WOW! THATS DEEP

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
