    Poem Commentary

I wrote this poem for my youngest son when he was in 3rd grade. He had to make a card for the children with cancer.

    My Mom's Hair

My mom grows her hair so long.
Then donates it to the little ones.
That are sick and don't have none of their own,
because of the medicine they have to take.
It soon makes their hair go away.
So my mom gets hers cut and sends it to them.
Hoping to make life a little easyer for them.
So I hope my moms hair helps you threw your days,
And may the Angels be with you each and every day.

     GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
