My Writing
I like to write poems
about people
That I've known.
About places,
That I've been.
Even about
My friends.
I write about
My feelings,
and the hurt
I feel inside.
I write about
many things,
That just come
Into my mind.
I still don't
Understand "why",
But it helps
to re leave the stress
That I feel inside.
Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
