My heart has turned to stone
My heart has turned to stone, I must learn to live alone
In my darkness he comes for me, he calls my name in my silence.
He grabs a hold of my mind and spins it into colors of delight.
The sounds I hear, unbearable to my ears but enjoyable in times of despair.
I can only control what I allow of myself, I give into his embrace
let him look me in the face, engulf on what god calls grace and slip into space.
I wished them away when I didn't understand.
I begged for forgiveness upon his heavy hand, divulged in his guidence of passions and brought forth his greatness through my faithfullness.
I couldn't bear the disappearance of him, so I called out to him in my dreams, allowed myself to overcome, told him to take me when he was done.
So now I am alone, I lay in solitude.
I am waiting for his gratitude.
I open my eyes, I see in a new view.
My heart has turned to stone, I must learn to live alone
