    Poem Commentary

This poem is because of the deep emotions I have when I sit and write letters, poems just about anything. Nothing fancy just my way of showing that a persons best friend can be things he/she does not just people. I hope you enjoy

    My Dearest Friend

I may not visit you from time to time
or we may not write once in awhile
but always no this my friend
you know how to make me smile

You are always there to comfort me
when I feel alone and the world has left me behind
you hold no judgement of me, of what I do
you are fair, just and kind

    No one understands our relationship
they may call it nonsense and absurd
If they only could experience our devotion
how much that can be heard.

My friend your comfort is with me
and I promise to visit more often and again
for you are my most precious and honest
relation, my kinship, my writing pen.
