My Chamber

My Chamber

Dark and mysterious this chamber of mine,
A desolate maddness my heart and soul entwine.
Not hearing, not seeing, not speaking a word,
Strange and uncommon some may call it absurd.
But to me it is the place that is so easily found,
When I am hurt and alone with my hands bound.
When my heart bleeds for someone so out of touch,
It's the feeling of his love that I miss so much.
When he opens his heart all things will subside,
And, when he closes me out, to my chamber I will again hide.
