My Castle

My Castle

If i would build a castle,
i would build it in the air,
away from this world's bustle,
and noises that often blare.

I would build it with no walls,
for a fortress, it is not,
it would have no winding halls,
nor would it have doors to shut.

It will have no stairs to climb,
or windows that distorts vision,
\it would stand the test of time,
and won't stay in one position.

It would be made out of dreams,
and wishes made to the stars,
hope would be its colour scheme,
and belief would be its founding bars.

If i would build a castle,
it will be open and bare,
no glitters or dazzle,
for such things have no place there.

If i would build a palace,
a kingdom of my own,
my foot-stool would be the past,
and the future, my throne.

In that castle in the air,
the thing i love the most,
i know when i get there,
i've found my paradise lost.
