    Poem Commentary

This one is about altering the course of life for the many generations to come.  It's deep, it's complicated, and it's mine!  :-)

    Misunderstood

    I'm searching for the rainbow
    For which you were born
    A place of arbitration
    Two heavens torn
    Anticipate the misery
    Of a dying sun
In my head the voices fear
    Of what's to become

I can't help but to wonder
    Why we are here
    In a void between light
    And all that is real

    We're misunderstood

    To carry on like prisoners
    We're slaves to the grind
    Surrounded by the sorrow
    Heed to mankind
Watch as the hours slip by
    Without a change
    Blinded by the crying eyes
    Forever rain

I can't help but to wonder
    Why we are here
    In a void between light
    And all that is real

    We're misunderstood

Now we must harness the power
    Together as one
And separate the rains clouds to
    Welcome the sun

Intense yet simple, I enjoyed it very much, a second read didn't hurt ... only added a bit more. I will look to this one again for quiet meditation, be well, k

This piece leads to many open avenues for discussion. I personally, would say that I would adapt it as a way to meditate, self-check and corrects one's flaws. It is full of fantasy and it is thought-provoking! A great mind exercise! Great job!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
