Millennium!

Y ESterday is gone
E verything is about to change,
A nxiously we await the future
R eady, we hope, for the inevitable

T here is, however, much consideration
W ith so much at stake, it's hard to be
O ptimistic concerning what will happen.

T he prophets by 2 and 3’s are speaking doom.
H owever, each person has the choice
O f how he faces the challenges ahead.
U sually it's easy to be swept along by
S omeone else's opinion and reflect THE
A ttitudes of those around us but
N one of this can dampen our faith because our
D estiny is safe and secure in Christ the KING

I'm usually a stickler for rhyme and meter Kaddeesh, but I have to say, your poem is VERY unique. I love the messege, and I love the way you spelled YEAR TWO THOUSAND. Very creative.

Thanks litilraven. I appreciate it.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
