margarita

I taste your saltiness
It melts in my mouth
The smell is heaven

When you are gone I moan
As I know I need more
Come and make me full

Sweet Margarita my poison
Come fill my life
with the love I need

Come nite time I will meet you
Once again with a smile
You bring me joy and happiness

I want more Margarita
You know what I need
come fill my life with pleasure

Thank you Margarita
Once again you have saved me
From the woes of the world
Oh my love Margarita

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
