Make a promise I can believe
Make me a promise i've never heard before,
all the others seemed to fall to the floor.
Make a promise with some level ground,
all the others are dead six feet underground.
make a promise that i could actually believe,
all the others seem like fantasy
make a promise you can actually keep,
cuz you promises are making me weak
broken promises make feel like all you do is lie,
rain for 40 days and 40 nights amount to how i cry
like a tree in autum parts of me fall to the ground
waiting through cold and snow to reunite and come back around
to that warm place where i glow so green
yellow orange and brown losing what is me
words are thorny be prepaired when i speak
make a promise to me that you can actually keep
Make a promise i havent heard before
One that my heart wont let doubt explore
Tell me something i have no choice to believe
but when you break them all what am i to believe ?
thinking of the past my heart is prepairing me.
it just tells me that your lying to me.
but yet make a promise to me i can believe
and give me the proof i need
i dont understand what you say and its hard to believe
Cuz your broken promeses will never leave
Said you'd never be the things that now i see
maybe i"ll never believe a thing you say to me.
trying to think what you could say that could make me believe
the very things you say and promised me.
My thoughts are promise and make a believer of me.
let your words and actions match and become reality
so theres no way i see you words as faulty
Make a promise i've never heard before
the gap is closing and i wont hear you anymore...
