    Magic (Stage 1)

    Vegas
    Strobe Lights, new skin tights
    bright colors
    brand new tricks
    together we're the best
    we mesh perfectly
    like sex
    I lived by cards; deception
    she lives by mirrors; illusions
    she's a perfectionist
    time passes
business was great but the show grows dull
    colors fade
    somethings not good enough anymore
she wants new tricks I can't provide
    I become a human sacrifice
    In the box I lay
    the audience applauds
I trust her and the saw...
    Eyes closed
I wake up with two jagged pieces of my heart... broken
    her glitter in my scars
alone... the show has moved on

pointed however good you have your own style of writing I enjoy

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
