Poem Commentary

Sometimes we as women let our emotions control us. We let our thoughts carry away and bring our fears out. Anger and confusion strike we walk around dead. Men in the contrary sometimes see us worried and sad and think it will go away and suddenly everything falls apart. Then love is forgotten and sometimes divorce, separation or living in hell is what happens.

LOVE IS FORGOTTEN

Once I was asked What love meant to me

My heart full of beautiful things
magic memories controled my hand
love the remote moving me
an eruption of passion
words of pleasure
I wrote happy
not doubting
I answered
smiling

Love was having you in my life.

Now sad looking back crushes me
you lay there asleep dreaming away
peacefully resting,ignoring me again
insomia strikes leaving me lonely
killing slowly my confused mind
which depresses my soul
making me weary
more and more

love is forgotten

like a memory of long ago
dark solitude ruling my night
making me doubt my past feelings
how can it be that I believed
loved you blindly,later forgetting
I tremble denying My hearts emotion
shrieked with agony as if I am dying

its so hard to comprehend
so I rather lie to myself
faking boldly not caring
letting anger take over
dominating my heart
and I become numb
can't feel you

love is forgotten!

true very true thanks

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
