I'm led,
so easily,
into tradgedy....
with one quick glance,
you've caught me.
with one bright smile,
you've dared me.
with one strong hug,
you've told me.
with one small kiss,
you've baited me.
with 3 small words,
you've sealed me.
with one gentle touch,
you've made me
with 2 sad words,
I've lost you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
