::Exist::
they forgot that I'm here
not 10 ft away
they've all turned their backs
and decided this way
that I don't exist
and I'm not one to play
but what about me?
don't I get a say?
::Exist::
they forgot that I'm here
not 10 ft away
they've all turned their backs
and decided this way
that I don't exist
and I'm not one to play
but what about me?
don't I get a say?
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
