Lost Part 1

Lost Part 1

As i sit in my space i can't seem to place a face on this thing that has tripped me and left me behind in this race.
Perhaps if i get a clear look, i can identify this crook who came straight at me like a rook.
Yet in my own mind i feel thoughts of loss clarity, and its a rarity that i don't know the meaning of me.
But i find that im in a new place, like i have fallen from grace, staring at the mirror but not recognizing the face.
Am I lost I wonder aimlessly, am i alone in this fantasy or are you the same as me
Oh well, enough of my tragedy and enough whining from me cause im my own enemy and if I am lost, it'll be in a place determined by me, I'll be lost in my poetry.......

Your poem is very truthful. It inspires me to take a look at my priorities.

very nice lots of emotion

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
