LITTLE SLAVE GIRL
LITTLE SLAVE GIRL
I was a little slave girl
That grew up poor and used
I thought no one wanted me
There was only evil that I could see.
The world had a claim on me
I could never find a place to hide
I would run here and there
Not from my asking,it's so unfair.
I looked around and all I saw
Was other little girls as lost as I.
The world didn't want us,but wouldn't let us go
They put us on a stage, like in a show.
Hunger came to get us
Said,how much will you give?
Nothing for that one
She doesn't deserve to live.
Then alcohol stepped in
Said,what's your price?
Nothing,are you kidding
Shes not worth the sacrifice.
Then in came big coke
Pushing me up front,He wasn't shy
Saying,make me an offer
Or this day she will die.
A man stepped out
In front of the crowd.
His hand went up
And He spoke very loud.
I'll make you an offer
One you can't deny
For this little slave girl
On the cross,I offer to die.
