Let me sell my Soul Letter

    dear Satan:
    you need souls
    take mine in advance
    but promise me
    you'll grant this wish
i can no longer leave to chance.
i wish for him to remember
i wish for him to know
    everyday remind him
    whisper how he's never alone
    tell him i love him
    and ill miss him so
    tell him i hurt him
so he would leave and go
tell him i only wanted to fly
    to touch the angels wings
    to stand atop the world
    to conquer and sing
    tell him dont worry
    tell him ill return
    Satan take my soul
    but do this one thing
    and i'll glady forever burn

    always
    -Loretta P.

One of the most beautiful prayers to the Dark One that I have read in a long time. Truly masterful in its presentation.

Be very careful what you write or wish for youngstuff... dreams are sometimes made to come true! ;) nice effort though...write on!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
