Poem Commentary

Hope you like it!

Last Kiss

No matter the distance I run
No matter the places I hide
You always find it quite fun
To tear me up inside

When I think you have my heart
When I think I know you well
You throw it oh-so far
And put my soul through hell

Every time I pull you close
Every time I feel your breath
I just want another dose
Of that lust-scented death

I have a crush on Death
I have a desire to be embraced
Everybody else has left
So long, this desire I've chased

But you have to say goodbye
But you have to dismiss
Our love with a hefty sigh
And one last kiss...

This is sad, friend. But very good. You have always been very good at writing. I like this one, and it appears to be your newest? I hope that things are going good for you... Much love.

Les épreuves de notre jeunesse, donnent nous la sagesse de notre Moyen Âge, et aux mémoires de notre vieillesse.

Je suis d'accord definitey, bon garçon.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
