    King of the mountain

Getting edgy tied up on this chain
my leash, controls and builds my pain.
Ive watched you lead and try in vein.
Your fascist role, your thoughts insane,
I wait, I watch your patienced drained
The dog unmasks, reveals his mane.
The lion now, his masters tamed.
turn the page, begin my reign.

    I take a bow
    my will be done
    its panic now
    the king is gone

    High atop my silver chair
down i look and up they stare
their ignorance is made of gold
glory fades, the king grows old
new begining fell in the mold
right to wrong, his souls been sold.
giving up can still be bold
this king is stern, he'll never fold
    as the familiar story's told
the king's alive, but dead and cold

    take a bow
    your reign is done
    theres panic now
    the king is gone.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
