    Justice

Amazing simplicity, all issues brought forth to attain a peak of honor. Reaching far above us we see the gold filled chest, holding memories around us all, until they become like chains in our seething prison.

A point is brought forth to trial, the jury awaits until the appointed speakers have been silenced, then strike the guilt of their own minds down on our innocent issue.

Facts not used for eons magically arise out of the murky stream, and march in procession to the court. One by one, each air bubble tells a story, one builds upon the other till...

Dust covered windswept plains, alone prairie dog mournfully buries his dead friend...justice.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
