just another bitter black woman they say, i say wake up

men always underestimate their better halves

hell we're the real thing not decaf i make you laugh

wake up and smell my essence and what i bring to the table

or are both of your eyes bonded together and cannot see

who it is i fell in love with and who i want you to be

i want a man that loves hard and creates his own mic

stands tall in his timbs and looks at me like, he knows what i am thinking

i know that i am not the typical black woman so dont be your typical black man

but i have a story to tell and something to offer a king fit for a queen

a warm bed,a warm soul,and a peace that will not fade

i was made this way,just hear me out this time for real

dont want to bother you or dissapoint you with false hopes

there will be struggles and confusion that is for sure

although,this is bound to happen sit still with me and just listen

i promise that we will never go through what our parents went through
