Just Tired
I look at you,
And see what I used to be.
I see the carefully construed web of almost,
Between "there" and "gone,"
With everyone's perception of you is wrong.
And when,
Oh, that's wrong: I mean IF,
Someone recognizes your expression,
"Just tired," you will say.
Yes, I think.
Just tired of everyone,
And everything,
Tearing you down,
Building you to believe a lie.
Eating air,
Hiding behind your hair.
Just tired of be a walking dead,
A human travesty,
Having everyone believe you to be a mistake.
So, yes.
"Just tired" is right.
