Just because I like Trees
As light shines to star sublimes, my paradigmloses all sense overwhelmed to my decline
in this soft grass, plush with my ash as I pass
the plant of everlasting hash and smoke paths.
No one else is around, this can't last the wrath
of my lungs inhaling the stash the mother crafts
in unison with the motion of earth I start to laugh
at my imaginary self, overshadowing my ass.
Sigh, the breath I exhale is so refined
contacting the birds and the bees in pantomime
motionless on their respective platforms high
in the sky where nothing ever comes down nigh.
Right? what a sight for red eyes to plight
in a world of rules, my gravity is contrite
in light of the fools, my levity in respite
till time speeds up and I don't care to write.
Hello green leafed tree of varied coloring seas
of white rings released in reprieve of the ease
dissipating in the wind, who loves to achieve
acrobatic like twirls as you peace.
Take this slow moment to rest within thee
as the cloud leaves the room it seeks to be
recognized by new pockets of chi, like me
and you, that seek to partake in the love of trees.
