    Individually Twisted

(Inspired by words on a bag of pretzels!)

    Individually twisted, tossed and turned.
    The personalities we’ve become,
    The habits we’ve learned.

The things we have done, and yet to do.
    Make up the frail psyches,
    That are me and you.

There are streets that we’ve driven, and paths that we’ve walked.
    Some directions we’ve taken,
And at some others, we’ve balked.

It’s sometimes amazing, just how we got here.
    Even though it’s complex,
    There is nothing to fear.

We have learned from our past, and the people we’ve met.
    And will from our futures,
Although we’ve not been there yet.

The struggles, the strides, the twists and the turns,
    Make us what we are,
    And gives us our yearns.
