    I was so sure

    Maybe I spoke to soon.
But its how I truly felt.
Maybe I was wrong, and they were right.
But I was sure of us.
    Maybe we rushed.
But we were so in tune.
    Maybe we weren’t ready.
But I can’t think of anything to change.
    Maybe those were lies.
But they were so true, if only you could see my thoughts.
Maybe I should have stopped and thought.
But we spoke our mind no matter what.
    Maybe I shouldn’t have fallen
But I was sure we were forever and always
