    i never dreamed

I never thought it could possibly be
that my baby could be taken away from me
I had dreams and hopes like any mother
and now my baby,he lives with another.
they say one day we will unite
and every thing will be alright
but with every day that slowly goes by
I feel the painI wonder why.
I pray To God ,in heavens above
to take care of my baby,I so very love
to hug him and remind him,I am in his heart
and though he is far,we are not torn apart.
a mothers love can always remain
beyond the tears, the hurt ,the pain
no one can erase it,pretend its not there
and no one can convince her she didnt care.
please God heal our tender heart,
for the ache inside ,it tears me apart

I can truly feel the pain and sadness that you are conveying in this well-written poem. I like poems that rhyme and this one also has a nice flow to it. This poem has a message that I believe that a lot of good, loving mothers can relate to. I was a child from a rape, and my mother could have easily used that as an excuse to abort me or to give me away. Anyways, excellent poem. It actually brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing your poem with me. I give you a perfect 10 for this one.

suzy ,gr8 poetry..but see the positive in everything God does.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
