I Found You

I Found You

I found you last night

You were warm

I could feel your heart race

When we embraced

I could smell you

The scent of a million flowers

It was heaven’s scent

We kissed

The longest deepest kiss

We held each other so close

We became one

Our bodies joined

We made love

In the air

Then you were gone

I woke up

But I could still feel you deep in my heart.

A distant love me thinks. Aww the loneliness of one not right at your side. Can truely relate to this one and another emotional write with wonderful imagery. Continue on fellow artist and i will continue to read.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
