    I Am The Sun...

I am the sun. I am bright.
I am loved, in return I provide light.
I rise every morning, set every night.
While I’m awake, I bring delight.
I live my life way up high.
Above everybody, my face in the sky.
If you misuse me you will see,
What a nuisance I can be.
I can do things you wouldn’t assume.
Bring you love and care, or pain and gloom.
Give you a high, cause you to die.
And other things you’ve yet to find.
    I‘ve been cursed for evermore,
To go round and round to stop nevermore.
Unless I shall die you’ll see everyday my face in the sky,
    Friend or foe, you decide.

Very clever, the way you wrapped it up. I've heard people personify the sun but not the way you did. Friend or foe an interesting way to describe the sun's effects, this inspires me to read some more of your work!

Excellent piece, need the vitamin D but need to protect from those harmful rays. 10

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
