He Walks Alone
He walks alone, no place to call home.
No bed to call his own.
He walks the street , on nothing but his own two feet.
Doing nothing but holding grief.
He sleeps on a bench, but nothing less
Watching the days go by.
He stands on the bridge, ready to jump the edge.
He feels the wind and splash,…then black.
