His Back
The Strength it possesses
The load it carries, the storms it weathers the pain that rolls off of it.
The wide span of the powerful shoulder blades, the deep cave of the spine.
Whether brown, red, white or jet black.
Whether muscular, meaty or thin.
The sway the swagger, So beautiful such magnificence so majestic
It bears the world and maintains the family.
It is a pony for the children and a pillar for the his woman.
The sweat off the brow and power of his back.
Have you ever just watched him walk away from you.
The departure can bring a woman such pride and much pain.
As the arch of his back has sent shivers down your spine, and admiration to your heart, that same back arch can send waves of anguish through your heart.
His leaving... to the store, to work, to play or forever....
The one vision is the one of his back as it departs from your site and disappears. The back that held you so high can leave you so low.
I have seen a many backs in my time here on this planet.
TURN AROUND, See me Seeing you leaving once more.
Turn around, I miss your face.
