Canticle of Root and Wings
The fire of the dipping sun that rushes across the twilight sky, is blurred by the emotion that sit beyond my eyes.Realization floods my soul and fear clasps at my heart...
Gone from me
The acorn size life and the larger than life being it was born of...
Gone from me, both of their own will.
Eyes resting on the darkening sky as my heart struggles to release both.
Tender dishonesty and hopeful disillusion was the vehicle that aided in my arrival to this place of pain. Misery is the result of confused love and the mature stupidity. I respect the effort he loath it all, including me.
What can I do, it is time to go. Our time has lapse and it is over. Every moment is cherish as if a rare ruby. Alas, departure is upon us. The love will remain as a fossil buried in me as the pain will fade in time like a poorly taken photograph.
Morning Light fines me there on my back, tear stained cheeks glistening in it ray. Back arching, head rising to the sky I sore as my wings spread and a new day begins. New lands to explore and a heart to heal. As I ascend, a lonely and damaged heart pleads "world embrace me and take me to your breast, love me, flaws and all." Envelope those I leave behind in the love I can not give.
Embrace me I plead, I need your warmth cause it is cold here all alone.
To you the unknown I reach out my arms and heart. See the vulnerability and tenderness of my soul.
Behold Me Embrace Me.
