    Heart and Pen

An Angel told me to sit down beside you..

Give you a hug and kiss..

Tell you to stop looking blue..

and get rid of all this..

So I did what he told me..

I did all I had to do..

    Suddenly you looked at me..

    You said "Thank You"..

    I simply smiled..

    And walked away..

You ran to give me a file..

And said read it another day..

So I waited for some time..

    And opened it then..

    To my surprise I find..

    A heart and a pen..

    A letter was also placed..

between the heart and the pen..

It read: "Write your name on the lace..

and sent it back to me then..

for the heart you are holding..

belongs to me and no one else..

    for I realized that you..

hold my heart and that is true"..

well as I can see you put all of your heart in this writing, well done! 10+ http://www.originalpoetry.com/poet/tsgirl

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
