    • tear the petals off of you, make you tell the truth // Hole

    Head

    he's a cold heart
    and a bleeding brain
    a twisted tongue
    an aching stomach

    altruism won second place today
a piano shattered and doused in sleet
    mascara run and given plenty
    eyeliner drip, drip, drip
into the snake of a sink

    it slithers it's squeaky plumbing
    leading one half to him
    the other half to Him
    spilt seed and laughing come
    come again? you come once
    he'll come twice

    xoxo

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
