    Have you seen me?

I am the girl with the big blue eyes,
    the one from your dreams,
with the power to take your love
    and toss it aside
without a care in the world.
I am the one who did nothing
while those I loved most perished before my eyes.
The one who pretends not to care,
but in truth, I die a little more each time I displease you.
I am a daughter with no father, a sister with no brother, a mother with no child.
Devoid of any meaning in this life,
    I long for death,
it is a dream I long to make a reality.
    Someday soon.

Just to see the sun rise each morning, even though your eyes may be cloudy is enough to live for.

Hmmm kinda depressing....I know its your thoughts and its good to get them out on paper. Hopefully you've gotten out of this way of thinking. This is a good poem though

I've read all your poems and they are very well written, but this one has a dark ending. I am hoping that if you are going through some type of depression that you seek help. Because this poem leads me to believe that you are writing as though this is the end. Life sometimes can throw a loop in all good things, but there is light on the other side. But do keep up your writing, very well written.

sad and lost with a dark tone to it. very well done

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
