HAUNTING ERR
In the cold of the nite I stare
Appraising the calm air
Of the breezy warm weather
which by reservations I bear
I reverie the quitness
Apart from the strange creepiness
A depressing coldness
Damping my heart in its clamminess
Thoughts of you tumble in my mind
In a dizzying gyre they grind
The frosty drill of their rind
leave me wishing your memories to unbind
we had set out, two souls unbridled
Ravaging passions bundled
scourging fires kindled
Entwined spirits entangled
To hike the hill we set our mettle
Oblivious to ensuing battle
Fears sealed in a bottle
By love brimming from our kettle
Then struck the blizzard
Cast by an evil wizard
Veiled in a 'friendly' vizard
Filled stones in our gizzard
Spirits cast into a freak
Going forth seemingly bleak
we abandoned our vie for a peak
The band we inevitably had to break
Hanging on emotional cliffs now we bleed
Longing for a need to heed
But we dishonored our creed
It could never be the same indeed
