Greater Than Shakespeare

Greater Than Shakespeare

Shakespeare put his mark on our world.
He's known for his giftedness.
His words are precise and eloquent when read, or spoken
Centuries later his voice speaks to men
giving them insight and true wisdom of his time.
Who is greater than he?
In the beginning was the word and the word
was with God, and the word was God.
He spoke, darkness was disipated and light came.
He spoke, air, water, and land became three
seperate identities.
He spoke, the earth produced grass and herb
yielding seed.
He spoke, the solar system was born.
He spoke, birds began to fly,
The seas were filled with life of all kind.
He spoke Mary conceived a son;
Whose name was Jesus.
He watches over his words bringing them to pass.
Oh the power of his words....

Interesting poem. I like the short history lesson. Have you actually copyrighted this work? That's good.

Yes it has been copyrighted. It is listed in one of my published works. Thanks for taking a look...

For it is impossible for God to lie. His spoken thought always crates what it doesn't already describe. And in our sphere, like the Bard, we too, would do well to consider the power of our spoken lies or truths. Well written.
