Free spirit
A free spirit rambles,
As dose the wind,
To stir the leaves ,
And bend the grass,
To move along ,
Its own winding path,
Sometimes cold,
And all alone,
And always the singer ,
Of the saddest song,
Time again to move along,
A free spirit ,
One alone,
Forever coming,
Forever gone,
Never belonging,
To only one,
Sometimes flowing,
Through a heart,
or around a soul,
But never vowing,
To have and to hold,
Time again to move along,
Because tomorrow brings,
Another day,
And with it changes come,
Changes seen ,
And known before ,
And wisdom comes,
From the past once more,
It,s time again to move along,
To take the highway ,
Ramble on.
Gotta find a way ,
To change the song,
A free spirit rambles,
The wind moves on..........
As dose the wind,
To stir the leaves ,
And bend the grass,
To move along ,
Its own winding path,
Sometimes cold,
And all alone,
And always the singer ,
Of the saddest song,
Time again to move along,
A free spirit ,
One alone,
Forever coming,
Forever gone,
Never belonging,
To only one,
Sometimes flowing,
Through a heart,
or around a soul,
But never vowing,
To have and to hold,
Time again to move along,
Because tomorrow brings,
Another day,
And with it changes come,
Changes seen ,
And known before ,
And wisdom comes,
From the past once more,
It,s time again to move along,
To take the highway ,
Ramble on.
Gotta find a way ,
To change the song,
A free spirit rambles,
The wind moves on..........
