    Forgotten Love

Glimmers of a distant star , Spark my memories, Of all the moon lit nights, Spent by silver seas , Reflections off the water,Cast haunting silhouettes, Of a once forgotten love, Captured by the nets , Pulling ever so vigilantly, Trying to reach the shore,Looking for a chance , TO be loved once more, Softly tides , Will wash them in ,Closely within reach , Only to wash them out again,Still farther from the beach,Sometimes I think I hear them crying , wandering through the night ,Searching forever searching, Until the break of morning's light

i like it it paints a picture

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
