footstep

On my journey

As i step forward

I felt the softness of the sand

And a smooth flow of the water

On my feet.

I hear the lullaby of the wind

seems like cradle on my ears

And bring tranquility on my heart

Haay!

I wandered without fear

Strike with all obstacles; storm

wild animals;wolves.

I won!

But evrything has an end

My struggle will soon be ended.

And now is that day.

The day…that i have to go back

Go back to the city where i born

Now was that day…

Now, im walking on the shore

Walking alone with my eyes

Wide open,

Tryin’ to figure out on my heart

The beauty that lays behind

The darkness of my blinded eyes.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
