    DAWN

Im here @ the edge of my life…

    Waiting for dawn to come

    Tryin to feel the ambiance

    Of being a youth.

    Looking up in the sky

Hearing the twit of the birds

    And what’s more?…

    Dreaming to fly like them….

    Im here outside the house

    watching the changing of seasons,

    Changing from dark to light,

From night to a new morning

In which i smell the fragrance

    Of the sun,

The suave touch of the wind

    W/c says good morning

    To each of the smallest

    Flower in the yard….

    How wonderful!

W/c makes me feel so lucky

For the new morning that smile

    Whispering…,

    ‘A new chances…for those

    Who have seen me!’

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
