    BROKEN SMILE

    Look for words

    Can’t hear the voice

    Of every dripping

    Shadow of chase.

    Standing here

    Emerald plate

    Of every whisper

    The wind had tell.

    A smiley silver

    Studs of coil

    Shape their dream

    In foggy plate.

    Told by shrieking

    Spark of tale,

    A swaying bobcat

    But coud not feel…..03-18-06

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
