    fall of existence

    Darkness falls
    light consumes all and burns
    killing darkness with its might
and so ends the reign of the night
    now

    Daylight falls
    night consumes all and covers
    shrouding brightness with its haze
and so ends the reign of day
    and
    In the end
    we are left with nothing

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
