    Expanse

Distance is tangible, manageable, and ever present. Don't fall victim to vast expanses and the torture of a ticking clock. Simply being young is a perfect excuse to be reckless and dumb so help me feel again and break the bonds that have made me numb. I'm no longer under the influence of 'impossible'. My limits are non-existant so take my hand and live with me in this moment. But moments are fleeting just as passion is a feeling. So take my hand and let's live for today and think about tomorrow when it becomes yesterday.

This poem is very intriguing. I agree with distance being manageable and ever present. I'm curious to know what you mean by distance being tangible. I always thought it was one of life's great intangibles. Very good poem. Very thought provoking.

I loved the way you played out the whole poem very inspirational and well put together. Keep up the good work Robert...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
