Drink the Cup

Drink the Cup

When this nation is destroyed,
For all its grievous sins;
Then the righteous can enjoy,
The new life that begins.

For all the innocent children,
Who were killed before their birth.
For all the blood of righteous men,
That saturates the earth.

Many times we’ve seen these things
And did not say a word.
To think God will not judge,
This nation, is even more absurd.

You think that you are innocent,
You eat, drink and make merry.
But God’s wrath will be poured,
Full strength, into your cup of sherry.
