Drifting and Floating

Drifting and Floating

Drifting about as if on water
Feeling as light as air
Yet as heavy as the world
The loss he bares is terrible
Brought on by his choices
These things he feels is like a terror
He wants to feel again
The horrors of his past are on his heels
He only needed her
She left him to his skeletons
Fought as much as his wolf could
He couldnt hold onto her
Try as he did to forget her he could not
Hes demon he showed her
His angel tried to guide her
Never again will he guide another
His heart only belongs to her
So wait forever more he shall on his river
Standing alone as other try to hold him
Others try to comfort him
He shuns away
And forever shall he be standing waiting

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
